| Comment | Here is where I am confused, the Edict rendering differing significantly from Yahoo and dictionaries.
ALC agrees with Edict. Yahoo reads it めくるめく and renders it "to be dazzled". reads it めくるめく also and renders it "dazzling". Both are quite a long way from "vertigo". Neither Yahoo nor have anything for "vertigo". Help! |

| Editorial Comment | 目眩/めまい and 目眩く/めくるめく are two different words. According to Koujien, GG5, etc. they mean as per the current JMdict/EDICT entries. |
| Current Entry | が /(prt) indicates sentence subject (occasionally object)/(P)/ |
| Headword 1 | が |
| Part-of-speech | prt |
| English 1 | indicates sentence subject (occasionally object) |
| Comment | Regarding previous amendment submission by Kale,
"(2) but, however, still" you need an "and" in that list. I think the [phrase]が[phrase] one gets a (conj) tag. Coverage of particles in Edict is somewhat patchy, I sometimes think they're better off in a specialised grammar dictionary. (See を for one of the better Edict particle entries) |

| Comment | Regarding the recent amendment, having been admonished about not using "correct" in linguistics, I'll just say that both 矜持 and 矜恃 are given for きょうじ in 大辞林 and only 矜持 for きんじ
